Nancy Passes Away

   Nancy was born on may 10 and died April 12. . . . .  Nancy dies 2 days before her last enrty . Collin was never found . The police couldn't never find him and so they forgot about it. Nancy was a sweet vrigin girl , a catholic girl who was only 15 when she died. the sad part was that she was rapped by force in her mom's bed. The reason why she wanted to tell everybody about her getting rapped and how she wanted the whole world to know what happened to her she wanted all the girls in the world to be careful with guys because thet can have aids/ HIV Virus and she doesn't want them to end up like her. Cause im pretty sure 95% of teens die because of aids and the HIV Virus. . .

Gets Sick

     After Nancy goes to the doctor and weeks pass after she got rapped she felt really sick she told her mom that she didnt feel well. She didn't want to tell her mom but she couldn't take it anymore so she told her. When she wen to the doctore thats when she found out she had the HIV Virus. After weeks pass and she waz scared she waz going to die sooner or later. Now ever since she got the HIV Virus she has been closer to her parents and she helped alot at school with her friends and they helped her alot too....

HIV Virus

p.g 75: We can sense something is really wrong when Dr.Telbert keeps telling us how great we are and stuff, likehe can't really get out what he wants to say. Then he slowly tells me that my bllod samples are finally back, and I have . . . . . . . . . . .the HIV Virus!

When she goes to the docter she finds out she has the HIV Virus. She doesn't know if Collin gave her the HIV virus or if she had it already. She feels like nothin she can't speak or say anything she feels like if she died inside her she feels alone she wishes she was still a little girl with her mom hugging her i wonder if she dies after a few days or weeks......

Not Okay

pg. 24: "I tried every way i knew to get away. I even bit him . . . but he . . . raped me. . . NO NO he didn't."
In the background Nancy and Collin go on a date on her house and he rapes her.  It's significant because he rapes her and she didn't even want to have sex with him but, he did it and he didn't even care if she wanted to or not. After he just gets up and left her there without even saying good-bye. No I'm sorry. No nothing.

It Happened to Nancy

What i liked about my book "It Happened to Nancy" is that it is a really good book but at the same time is really sad because she gets rapped by a college guy she really loved for the first time. I wouldnt change anything of the book because its really good it talks about alot of stuff that can happen to teens and to be careful because a million girls get the HIV for having sex without protection. I would have my best friend Valeria read it because shes been wanting to read it and im pretty sure she'll like it. I really have no questions. But it was a really good book i really liked it.
